      Bamboola 2000 combines native African instruments with modern rhythm and vocals to deliver a unique and inspiring  experience.   Not only are they great to listen to, they top off the show with dancing and beautifully elaborate costumes.  The shows are energetic and soulful and always get the crowd on their feet.  

 

 

 

   

Riccardo Crespo is a Southern Brazilian musician, singer, songwriter.  He sings of love, relationships and the trials and tribulations of daily life in his native tongue, Portuguese.  Ricardo spent three years playing in Europe before coming to New Orleans.  His original compositions are a mix of Musica Popular Brasileira, Bossa Nova and Latin music which results in beautiful World Music.

 

Tony Green& Gypsy Jazz are an acoustic trio consisting of two guitars and an upright bass. The group performs swing tunes, waltzes, tangos, Latin numbers, classical pieces and Hungarian Gypsy music.

 

 

   Freddy Lonzo, trombone player extrordinaire.  More about Mr. Lonzo will be available in the near future.

 

    Christina Machado' s lush voice and stage presence are alluring.  This young, multi-talented individual dazzles audiences from New Orleans to New York.  Her debut CD graces radio stations from Los Angeles to Philadelphia.  Christina Machado's style and commitment to jazz is influenced by legendary jazz artists Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Shirley Horn, Carmen McRae and Betty Carter, to name a few.

   

 

 

Mitch Woods and his Rocket 88's are the torch bearers of a great American musical heritage. Taking their inspiration from the great jump n' boogie outfits and swinging little big bands of the 40's, they breath fresh life into the vanishing brand of music that gave birth to rock n' roll.  They have built a large national and international following as they perform at clubs and festivals worldwide.
